Executive Summary

Clinical Corvus is a clinician-facing, bilingual (PT–EN) Cognitive Prosthetic that functions as a high-fidelity intelligence layer above the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Instead of attempting to replace or deeply integrate into heterogeneous hospital systems from day one, Corvus creates a privacy-first Cognitive Cockpit that clinicians can adopt immediately—regardless of the underlying EHR—by shifting integration to the clinical user interface (copy/paste + document upload) rather than the hospital backend.

Built on Proven Architectural Components

Clinical Corvus is built on proven workflow primitives already validated in real clinical routines:

  • Pinned global context controls (Group + Patient selectors) and a clear Monitor / Solver mode toggle
  • Quad-View displays for rapid pattern recognition and pre-rounding synthesis
  • Corvus Hub (right rail) as a mode-aware operational assistant (triage queue, deltas, evidence/provenance, quick actions)
  • Group Operations state when no patient is selected (alerts/rounds queue + next best action)
  • CRA (Clinical Research Agent) for evidence synthesis
  • Verifier-Lite for quality validation and evidence gating
  • Magic Paste Smart Clipboard and Upload PDF as universal clinical ingestion paths
  • Dual-Stream processing where LLM narrative reasoning is coupled to deterministic KeyMarkers and triage logic instead of full EHR replication
  • "Check-to-Accept" interaction pattern that preserves clinician control and reduces automation bias

Three Architectural Pillars

Clinical Corvus is built upon three architectural pillars:

1. Clinical Workspace

A standalone workspace designed to replace the chaotic mix of spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and ad-hoc notes. The Clinical Workspace offers a polymorphic UI that adapts to the clinician's cognitive mode while keeping global controls visible and minimizing wrong-patient / wrong-context errors.

2. Hybrid RAG Multi-Agent Clinical Copilot

To reconcile messy, unstructured input with safe, data-dense visualization, Corvus employs a Dual-Stream Ingestion Engine with explicit agent integration:

  • Stream A (Narrative Synthesis): BAML summarization + Hybrid RAG.
  • Stream B (Deterministic Metrics): 100% hallucination-free parsers for labs and vitals.
  • Verification Layer: Verifier-Lite limits risk.

3. Ephemeral Privacy Architecture

An episode- and session-aware retention model that minimizes data liability by design, enabling bottom-up adoption without complex data-retention agreements.

Market Context

The healthcare AI market is bifurcated. Global players (Nabla, Suki) integrate deeply with FHIR-enabled US systems. In contrast, many hospitals worldwide rely on "Shadow IT" (WhatsApp, Excel) due to fragmented, legacy EHRs.

Clinical Corvus positions itself as the Workflow Intelligence Layer that bypasses this integration bottleneck. By turning the UI into the integration point, Corvus delivers immediate value to frontline teams.
