Smart Clipboard (Copy/Paste + PDFs)

Clinical Corvus is designed around a simple reality: most clinicians already copy/paste from EHR screens or receive PDFs and reports. The Smart Clipboard turns that input into structured, reviewable drafts.

What To Paste

  • Progress notes (assessment/plan blocks)
  • Lab tables (including “ugly” copy/paste)
  • Imaging report excerpts
  • Microbiology summaries and antibiograms (where available)
  • Discharge summaries / consult notes

Best Practices

  • Paste only what you need for the question you’re answering.
  • Keep identifiers out of the clipboard when possible (names, MRNs).
  • If your paste includes multiple dates, ask explicitly: “Use the most recent values.”

Expected Outputs

  • A clean clinical summary (short, editable)
  • A problem list draft (organ-system friendly)
  • A task list draft that you can check-to-accept
  • Conflict flags when narrative and signals disagree (you decide how to resolve)

Common Failure Modes

  • “Too much noise” → paste a smaller excerpt or remove headers/footers.
  • “Missing context” → paste the most recent assessment/plan or the relevant table.
  • “Ambiguous timeline” → specify the date/time window you care about.
