Smart Clipboard (Copy/Paste + PDFs)
Clinical Corvus is designed around a simple reality: most clinicians already copy/paste from EHR screens or receive PDFs and reports. The Smart Clipboard turns that input into structured, reviewable drafts.
What To Paste
- Progress notes (assessment/plan blocks)
- Lab tables (including “ugly” copy/paste)
- Imaging report excerpts
- Microbiology summaries and antibiograms (where available)
- Discharge summaries / consult notes
Best Practices
- Paste only what you need for the question you’re answering.
- Keep identifiers out of the clipboard when possible (names, MRNs).
- If your paste includes multiple dates, ask explicitly: “Use the most recent values.”
Expected Outputs
- A clean clinical summary (short, editable)
- A problem list draft (organ-system friendly)
- A task list draft that you can check-to-accept
- Conflict flags when narrative and signals disagree (you decide how to resolve)
Common Failure Modes
- “Too much noise” → paste a smaller excerpt or remove headers/footers.
- “Missing context” → paste the most recent assessment/plan or the relevant table.
- “Ambiguous timeline” → specify the date/time window you care about.
