Clinical Academy
The Clinical Academy is a built-in suite of reasoning tools available to both you (the clinician) and the AI agents. It bridges the gap between daily work and continuous learning.
Reasoning Tools
Corvus includes structured templates to help you think through complex cases:
- Illness Scripts: Templates outlining typical presentation, pathophysiology, and management of diseases. "Does this patient fit the script for Pulmonary Embolism?"
- Differential Diagnosis Scaffolds: Frameworks like VINDICATE or SNAPPS to systematically expand your differential.
- Symptom Analysis: Standard templates (OPQRST) to ensure thorough history taking.
- Calculators: Automated risk scores (qSOFA, Wells, CHA2DS2-VASc) invoked by the agent or you.
Cognitive Debiasing
The Academy also supports metacognition—thinking about how you think:
- Bias Checklists: Reflective checklists to identify Anchoring Bias, Availability Heuristic, or Premature Closure.
- Devil's Advocate: Ask the agent to challenge your working diagnosis. "What fits least well with the diagnosis of Pneumonia?"
Co-Learning
When you use Academy tools, you aren't just getting help; you're teaching the system. Corvus learns which scaffolds are most useful for which types of cases (e.g., "Users often use the PE script for dyspnea cases"), helping it offer better, more relevant tools in the future without recording any personal data.
